Dinah Shore has gone down in musical history alongside artists such as Doris Day as a very fine singer and entertainer, which of course they both were. We at AVID have chosen five of her classic albums made for Capitol in the late 1950s and early 1960s which displays our belief that she was also a very fine jazz singer (as was Miss Day of course, who started her career, may we remind you, with the Les Brown orchestra). Across these albums Dinah is joined by such fine musicians as Andre Previn, Nelson Riddle, Red Mitchell, Frank Capp, and The Red Norvo Quintet
